Meet the artist
Hi. I’m Brenda.
I’m the maker behind CoziNests.
I’ve been making things for a long time. Long before it became a business, making was simply how I stayed curious, grounded, and connected during seasons of change. It was a way to work with my hands while life quietly reshaped itself around me.
I believe ordinary objects can be magical.
CoziNests came later, during a period of rediscovery. As my children grew up and stepped into their own lives, I found myself standing at a new threshold, asking different questions about purpose, impact, and how I wanted to move through the world.

My work is shaped by the world as it is, nature and architecture, beauty and decay, materials that carry history, texture, and evidence of time.
I’m happiest working with my hands, paying attention to texture, light, and the quiet rhythm of making.

I felt drawn not toward noise or urgency, but toward light. I make objects meant to be used and lived with. Candles and small pieces that bring warmth, beauty, and a sense of intention into everyday spaces.
I don’t make things to persuade or instruct, but my values are always present, care for the environment, respect for process.A belief that the most meaningful impact often comes from tending your own light and letting it be seen. If my work helps you feel inspired, grounded, or a little more at home in the world, then it’s doing what it was made to do..
Thanks for being here, I’m glad you found your way.
