Refund policy

At CoziNests, we want you to love your candles. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your candle must meet the following conditions:

  • The candle must be unburned and unused
  • The candle must be in its original packaging
  • You must have your receipt or proof of purchase

The following items are NOT eligible for return:

  • Candles that have been burned or used, even partially
  • Custom or personalized candles
  • Sale, clearance, or final sale items
  • Gift cards

Damaged or Defective Items

We take great care in packaging our candles, but sometimes damage occurs during shipping. Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If your candle arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at Brenda.Potts@CoziNests.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged item and packaging
  • A description of the issue

For damaged or defective items, you may choose:

  • Full refund to your original payment method
  • Replacement item (same product)
  • Store credit

Please note: Issues related to candle performance (such as tunneling, weak scent throw, or uneven burning) may be caused by improper candle care and are not covered under our return policy. We're happy to provide candle care tips to ensure the best experience with your CoziNests candles.

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact us at Brenda.Potts@CoziNests.com or call 513-371-4408.

Please do not send your purchase back to us without first requesting a return authorization. Items sent back without authorization will not be accepted.

Return Shipping

For damaged or defective items: We will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.

For all other eligible returns: You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs. Return shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

If more than 10 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you haven't received it, please contact us at Brenda.Potts@CoziNests.com.

Exchanges

We do offer exchanges for different scents if you're not satisfied with your fragrance choice. Please note that exchanges are subject to:

  • A restocking fee
  • Shipping fees for sending the replacement
  • The candle must be unburned and in original packaging

The fastest way to ensure you get the scent you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new fragrance..
