Process & Materials

Every CoziNests piece begins long before the wax is poured.

We gather reclaimed wine bottles from Country Fresh Farm Market in Anderson, homes, and other local small businesses, selecting each one for its color, shape, and character. What once held a celebration, a dinner, or a quiet evening is carefully cleaned, cut, and smoothed by hand so it can begin again in a new form.

Each vessel is prepared slowly. Edges are refined, surfaces are polished, and every container is inspected to ensure it is safe, durable, and ready to hold light.

Once prepared, the vessels are hand-poured in small batches using high-quality wax and carefully selected fragrance blends. Wood wicks are positioned by hand, allowing each candle to burn with a gentle glow and soft ambient crackle.

Our pebble notes, and light catchers follow a similar philosophy. Stones are gathered thoughtfully, then tumbled for weeks in a slow, rhythmic process that smooths the rough edges while preserving their natural beauty. Reclaimed crystals, wood, and glass are assembled one piece at a time, ensuring no two creations are ever identical.

This same approach guides every CoziNests creation, from our concentrated lotion bars and handcrafted art wraps to our small-batch prints and one-of-a-kind decorative pieces. Each item begins with thoughtful materials, careful hands, and a commitment to creating objects that feel personal, useful, and quietly enduring.

At CoziNests, the goal is simple: to give materials a second life and create objects that feel warm, meaningful, and quietly lasting. What might once have been discarded is reshaped into something luminous — a small reminder that beauty often begins with what is already here.
